Teach to Engage Day at SUNY Geneseo is a professional development initiative developed by the Office of the Provost to promote conversation and collaboration among faculty and professional staff in the Division of Academic Affairs. It is intended to create a space for learning more about our current students, making connections to various efforts on campus that support and empower our students, and beginning conversations about how we realize our shared commitment to public liberal arts education.
The inaugural Teach to Engage Day will be held off campus on Tuesday, October 15. The Provost’s Office is excited about the constructive potential in a day dedicated to celebrating the work that is going on across our campus. Teach to Engage Day offers us a rare chance to connect, collaborate, and converse about the work that we do as educators. We hope that participants will be inspired as they learn alongside colleagues and will come away from the program with tools, strategies, and concrete ideas that can shape our work with students.
