Canvas operates on a three-week release cycle through which features are added or updated; feature releases in the production environment take place on the third Saturday of every month. Commons: Favorites Import
Continuing to make it easier to use Commons content, instructors can now import previously favorited content directly into Quizzes, Pages, Discussions, Assignments, or Modules. This change allows users to place imported content directly into the feature area, from within the feature area’s Options menu, where it will be accessed by learners.
After selecting “Commons Favorites”, instructors will see all previously favorited Commons content specific to the feature area. Continuing with the example shown above, the faculty member would then see their favorited Assignments from the Canvas Commons; the same follows when using the three vertical dot options menu in Pages, Quizzes, Discussions, and Modules.
