There are many local play resources in our finger lakes/ Rochester area. Below are a few that we have found particularly beneficial to young children and their development.

Strong Museum of Play

Strong Museum of Play is an interactive museum based on the integration of play. Kids of all ages are welcome to explore hands-on. Henrietta Town Park

Town Parks are a simple way for young learners to explore in an active way. There is a lot of open space, a rock climbing wall, and jungle gyms for kids to play on. Students are working on fine and gross motor skills without even noticing. Students are playing while building upon their social and cognitive skills. Rochester Museum and Science Center

The Rochester Museum and Science Center has many hands-on physical activities for young students to participate in. There is a rock wall, jungle gym, ball pit, dirt-digging, and multiple other enticing activities for young learners. The museum has something for students of all ages. https://rmsc.org/

Altitude Trampoline Park

Altitude Trampoline Park is a high energy location that includes a rock wall, a foam pit, dodgeball, and so many trampolines for young children and adults to use. This is a great location for young learners to explore and foster their imagination physically. Horizon Fun FX

Horizon Fun FX has 5 amazing attractions that will help students engage in physical play. There is skating, a jungle gym, a game zone, laser tag, and king of the hill. Young kids and adults are able to run around and participate in multiple activities while at Horizon Fun FX.
