What is it?
Another type of play that is vital to a child’s development is Physical Play. Physical play includes activities that allow students for movement and to exert energy. The students are able to work on fine and gross motor skills as well as learn new things and socialize. It is necessary to incorporate physical play into the everyday class structure, rather than just relying on recess for this type of play. Allow students to be creative and create their own games as well! When students create their own games, they are enhancing their play (Bekker & Eggen, 2010).
How should you implement it?
