Hey there! We’re SEX[Ed] – a peer-led sexual health education program at SUNY Geneseo. We are a group of college students who understand the challenges that come with maintaining emotional and physical well-being, especially when it comes to sexual and reproductive health. We also realize that many student struggle due to a lack of comprehensive sexual health education. They may have received abstinence-based education or education that wasn’t inclusive – or, alternatively, little information at all! – before coming to Geneseo.
That’s where we come in!
We believe in promoting evidence-based, sex-positive, and inclusive sexuality-related knowledge and skills. Whether you’re a new student experiencing college for the first time, a student who craves more inclusive and diverse sexual health education – or anyone else, for that matter – we’ve got your back! Join us, and let’s learn and grow together. Together, we can create a campus community that values and prioritizes sexual well-being.
