Here’s a list of workshops that we’re currently offering. If you’re a faculty or staff member, an RA, or part of a student organization, please click the button below to schedule a workshop. This list will keep growing, so keep your eyes out for new workshops as they’re posted here!
This workshop covers the basics of safer sex, including your options, their effectiveness, and how to use them the right way. We’ll also talk about how to protect yourself against HIV “after the fact” if you think you’ve been exposed (for example, if a condom breaks). Finally, you’ll hear about medications you can take to significantly lower your risk of HIV infection. If you’re curious about condoms, dubious about dental dams, or would like to learn more about lube… we’ve got you covered!
With so many different kinds of birth control out there, sometimes it’s hard to know what’s right for you. You may need information about what to do to prevent conception after having unprotected sex. Finally, you may be unsure of your options in the case of an unwanted pregnancy. We’re here to help!
There’s a LOT of misinformation about sexual and reproductive health on social media. Some comes from people trying to sell you something. Some comes from people with a hidden agenda. And some comes from people who just don’t know any better! With all this misinformation out there, it’s sometimes hard to tell what’s true and what’s not. This workshop will teach you skills in social media literacy – the ability to critically look at social media content and figure out the difference between fact and fiction.
Have you ever been self-conscious about your labia or penis size? Do you know the full structure of the clitoris? Is there a difference between a clitoral or vaginal orgasm? We don’t always learn about our bodies in a thorough, non-judgmental, and pleasure-focused way. This workshop focuses on all sorts of sexual anatomy – labia, clitorises, penises, and more – and emphasizes the importance of body positivity in ALL its forms!
What are the four bodily fluids that transmit HIV? What is the difference between PEP and PrEP? How do you get an HIV test, and what is testing like? If you need treatment for an STI, what are your options and where can you go? How do you know it’s time to go to a medical provider and get a diagnosis? We answer these questions, and much more, in this workshop. Becoming informed is the first step towards staying safe!
